Purpose
This is a record of the targets of the illegal war waged by the United States and Israel against Iran. It is not a finished report. The war began on 28 February 2026 and is still being fought.
The two-week ceasefire agreed on 8 April never held. Iran refused to reopen the Strait of Hormuz; the United States imposed a naval blockade five days later. A 60-day framework was signed at Versailles on 17 June. On 8 July it was declared over. The strikes have not stopped since.
What is catalogued here: strikes on schools and universities, hospitals, UNESCO World Heritage sites, oil and gas, steel, nuclear facilities, military sites, civilian neighbourhoods, and the blockade and shipping war — with the officials and civilians killed.
Where sources disagree, the range is given, not the largest number. Every entry is cited, and reporting from openly aligned or independent outlets is labelled as such rather than presented as wire copy.

Methodology
Each incident entry in this archive is sourced from publicly available reports by international news agencies, human rights organizations, and verified open-source intelligence. Where possible, entries include direct links to the original source material.
Casualty figures are reported as stated by the respective organizations and may differ due to varying methodologies, access to affected areas, and definitions of civilian versus military casualties. This archive does not adjudicate between competing casualty estimates but presents them transparently.
Dates marked as "Mid-Mar" or "Early Mar" indicate incidents for which precise dates were not available in the source material at the time of compilation.
Sources & Source Policy
No party to this war is a neutral narrator, and this archive does not pretend otherwise. Three rules govern what appears here:
- Where sources disagree, the range is reported — not the highest number. Casualty figures in particular vary by thousands depending on who is counting and what they count.
- Claims are attributed to whoever made them, including when the claim comes from the Iranian government. Where an official claim is contradicted by evidence, that is recorded too.
- Openly aligned and independent outlets are labelled as such rather than presented as wire reporting. Their firsthand work is included where it is corroborated; where it is not, it is marked single-sourced or held back.

Openly aligned outlets that sent reporters into Iran during the war. Their firsthand documentation is valuable and is included where corroborated — but it is labelled, not blended with wire reporting.
