- Feb 28 Schoolchildren and teachers killed, Minab: Civilian The school was struck three times between 10:23 and 10:45 a.m. After the first missile hit, the principal moved students to a prayer room — which was then struck in the second impact, killing most inside. Confirmed killed: 175–180 people, the majority schoolgirls aged 7–12, their teachers, and several parents. The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child said it was 'deeply disturbed.'
